Intuitive Cranial Sacral Therapy and Organology

Dr. Johnson has practiced osteopathic manual manipulation and cranial sacral therapy for 25 years. He has combined these skills with his knowledge of embryology, neurology, alchemical 3-fold dynamics, 7-fold-organology, and 12-fold formative relationships in the body to offer an intuitive, and multi-dimensional approach to healing. This treatment involves an individualized session based on sensing areas where there are “functional” weaknesses in the organ systems, neurological pathways and vital energy flows. Treatment can involve both standard osteopathic techniques of counterstain, chapman’s points muscle energy release as well as visceral, cranial sacral and balancing of vital energy pathways in vital traditional energy centers such as Chakra regions. Often moist heat and essential oils and meditative imaging are used to facilitate individual healing. Cranial techniques can benefit children and infants with developmental and behavioral challenges, allergies, earaches, sensitivities, head trauma and more. Common adult issues include trauma, musculoskeletal/neurological injuries, migraines, concussive syndrome, neurological ailments, TMJ, fibromyalgia, fatigue, chronic pain and difficulties maintaining health. Few structures have as much influence over the body's regulation as the brain and spinal cord that make up the central nervous system. And, the central nervous system is heavily influenced by the craniosacral system - the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord. By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body's ability to self-correct, Cranio-Sacral therapy is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions. As one example, our five cardinal organs Heart, Liver/Gall, Spleen, Kidney/Adrenal and procreative organs have a regulating effect on all of our metabolic functions from building up our bodies to excreting. Through the techniques discussed here, a deeper picture of your individual health can be suggested which allows you to engage into a fuller dimension of healing. This type of therapy reveals how our bodily ailments are often connected to psychological and emotional blocks and tendencies. For instance: The intestines:
-insecurity, melodramatic, overly chatty, hypochondria, headaches, poor nutrition, low stamina. The Stomach:
-Importance of appearance and self-image, social status very important, sees power in extroversion, poor self-esteem, frustration, spontaneous anger, bloating, heartburn and hypertension are common. The Bladder:
-Controlling, guilt, avoid tension, hard time making decisions. Breathing problems often linked here. The Liver:
-Dependency on the past, pessimism, bad moods, fits of anger, depression. Poor detoxification, poor elimination, sluggish digestion, constipation and depression are also common. The Kidneys:
-Fear, feeling of being abandoned, insecurity, deep seated anger, a need to lead, generosity. Over loss of enthusiasm for life, sluggish metabolism, chronic fatigue are common ailments. *These special sessions are offered as needed as part of an alternative and integrative approach to healing. Traditional Osteopathic techniques are also offered as a separate service depending on the choice of the patient. Usually a great deal can be done over 6-8 treatments.
